Carpenter Foreman

We are seeking an experienced carpenter foreman in Texas City, Texas for a full time contract position that is expected to last a minimum of 18 months. The Carpenter Foreman will assist the General Foreman in providing leadership, direction and supervision of concrete carpenter.  The Carpenter Foreman will delegate and coordinate work; evaluate, monitor and report on work progress; set up and maintain a safe job site and ensure that all work complies with project specifications, project budget, quality standards and project schedule.

Job Requirements:

Read blueprints for job layout and form work.

Supervise all concrete work, including the construction and installation of wood, metal and pre-fabbed forms.

Work with hand tools and power tools.

Observe and comply with all safety and project rules and regulations.

Ability to work off platform lifts.

Plan and coordinate labor requirements.

Evaluate work performance against project schedule.

Advise General Foreman of any issues or potential risks/costs.

Monitor and report on job progress as it relates to project budget and schedule.

Qualifications:

4 or more years of experience working as a lead carpenter or carpenter foreman on industrial or commercial construction projects.

Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record

NCCER or NCCER+ Certification
